Weekly RSI by coin

Each dot is one coin, most traded on the left. Its height is the coin’s RSI(14): the red band above 70 is overbought, the green band below 30 is oversold. Coins with a dashboard link to it.

How to read the heatmap

RSI compares the size of recent up days with recent down days on a scale of 0 to 100. A coin high on the chart has risen hard over the last 14 bars; a coin low on the chart has fallen hard. When most dots sit high, the whole market has run up together; when they spread out, coins are moving on their own news.

Overbought and oversold describe a stretched move, not a turning point. In a strong trend a coin can stay above 70 or below 30 for weeks. That is why a reading on this chart is a place to start a test, not a trade on its own: check how an oversold rule has done on the coins and timeframe you care about before you use it.

For one coin’s full picture, with MACD, moving averages, volatility and funding beside its RSI, open its dashboard from the chart or the indicator table. For coins turning up from oversold right now, the oversold screener filters for that setup.

FAQ

RSI heatmap questions

What is an RSI heatmap?

A chart that places many coins by their RSI at once, so you can see which are stretched up and which are stretched down. This one plots the most traded Hyperliquid perps, plus the 12 dashboard coins by their 14-period RSI, with shaded bands above 70 (overbought) and below 30 (oversold).

Which crypto is most oversold today?

The oversold list on this page names every coin with a daily RSI of 30 or lower, lowest first.

Does buying oversold RSI work?

Sometimes, and it depends on the coin, the timeframe and how you exit. Buying RSI under 30 tends to work in ranges and fail in strong downtrends, where RSI can stay low for weeks. The RSI backtest linked on this page tests the rule on Hyperliquid history across the most traded coins, so you can see where it held up and where it did not.

What is the difference between daily and weekly RSI?

Daily RSI uses the last 14 daily closes and moves quickly. Weekly RSI uses the last 14 closed weeks, so it changes slowly and reads the bigger trend. A coin oversold on the daily but not on the weekly has had a sharp drop inside a longer move.

How often does the heatmap update?

Once a day, after the UTC close. The values are for the last completed daily bar, and the weekly RSI uses closed weeks only.

Why is this different from other RSI heatmaps?

Other heatmaps often use spot prices from one exchange and a shorter timeframe. This one uses Hyperliquid perp prices and daily or weekly bars, so a value can differ a little from a chart elsewhere.
