A stock perpetual is a contract that tracks the price of one share, or one ETF share, and never expires. While the stock's exchange is open, an oracle feeds its price to the market, and funding keeps the perp close to it. After the close and at weekends, trading on Hyperliquid sets the price, so these markets react to news that lands while the exchange is shut.
Builders list these markets on Hyperliquid through HIP-3. A few stocks trade on more than one builder, and each listing has its own page, leverage cap and funding rate.
